    100% understand. 🙂

  • Edward

After three months of 1 hour at least a day of studying I understood about half without looking at the pdf. I didn’t use the english translation at all but I did have to use the glossary for some of the vocab words. After yes I speak japanese a little I had a hard time following what they were saying, but I caught up at about the 4th last line.

If you’re sitting there with your mouth wide open and don’t know a word of what was said, don’t feel discouraged! I did the same thing with lesson 1. I went through each part 2 times thinking I was good, but then I hit the dialog like a brick wall, I didn’t understand a word of what was said. You’re going to need to expose yourself to a lot of material before you actually start to hear the words and phrases you learned in the previous lessons.

  • rabeb

i understood it all but i still have a problem in speaking like them… these lessons are very useful, i hope that they will improve my spelling more 🙂

  • Alejandro

Definitely improving my reading … understood most of it on the script! However, listening needs some help ㅠㅠ …

  • Jem

I understood almost all of the dialogue when I listened to it, but I had to replay some of the lines over and over just to recognize the words and then read the pdf to check when I still couldn’t hear clearly. I couldn’t recognize ‘더 쉬워요’ and ‘저랑 같이’ >_< It's frustrating because I know these words but I still wasn't able to catch them in the dialogue..my listening skills really need to be practiced!

  • jon

I really appreciate the lessons you provide.. But after listening to every single podcast so far I am getting a little sick of the constant flirting throughout the podcasts…

I understand you are trying to make it fun but I am getting quite tired of listening to the ‘school boy like’ banter…

  • Maxime

The dialogs are really good. What about the other lessons?
    Thanks a lot

  • chezza

I could totally understand the script, but I found it so difficult listening to the conversation because it was so fast! I was still trying to understand what was said when they’d move on to the next sentence. T_T

  • Ceylon

정말 재미있어요! Thanks for your great work. This dialog is very useful. All the new words and grammar structures are in context so they become much easier to remember. But will you continue to make this kind of lesson? I’m studying level 3 and there is no dialog like this one.

  • Sayana

  • jovz

Just a question..,Do you think I would be able to learn Korean language without learning about Korean letters?I mean, I only want to understand someone who speaks Korean, I don’t aim to read or write Korean. So, would that be possible? Or I should study Korean letters as well in order to be fluent?

    Thanks for your thoughts!^_^

    • Personally I think if your aim is not to read and write you wouldn’t have to learn the letters …but I do think that even though you don’t want to read and write since your concern is only speaking it would be of importance to be able to read because then you would understand how the sounds work better!! But other than that I don’t think it would be a problem not to learn Hangul ^^ Hope that helped you decide ^^

  • Jess

    Well, another 100% .. let’s check lesson 3..

  • Evangeline

  • Kat

I understood a lot more than I thought I would the first time I listened to it, but still not everything, so I looked at the Korean transcript and saw some vocabulary I wasn’t familiar with and it was throwing me off. I ended up disappointing myself and using the Korean + English transcript =[ but I think it benefited me in the end. Thank you so much for these lessons!!

  • Joanie

I just didn’t understand Saturday. Other than that I was able to understand. My korean is better than I thought lol

  • Alyona

I can understand 100% dialog without pdf X)
    선생님들, 정말 고마워요!

  • WendyM

I understand most of it while reading it with exception of few new vocabulary words. But listening to the conversation I only got about half of what was said, mostly because the new vocabulary words made difficult to comprehend the dialog.

Thanks to the teachers and TTMIK for this lessons!!!!

  • TuQuan

I started to learn korean 3 months ago and I only learned from TTMIK. Just by listening, I only understood 10%. After reading the korean script, I understood 80%.
But it is a very good exercise. Can we request more dialogs or is there any book where we can read more dialogs?
Thank you very much for your lessons.
