Korean Vocabulary Plus #1 공부

안녕하세요! We are introducing Korean Vocabulary Plus! As you know, we introduce grammar points and sentence building tips through our regular lessons, but we do not try to have you memorize a lot of vocabulary words all at once because… learning new words doesn’t work that way! So our regular lessons will always be the way they are, without too many vocab words to remember. We want our listeners to only focus on the grammar points that we introduce through the lessons.

So through Korean Vocabulary Plus video lessons, we will introduce new words, one by one. But to help you remember the word better through context, and for those of you who already know the certain words but want to learn some more expressions using the words, we will also give you some sample sentences through the videos.

Not all our videos will be posted here as lessons, but all of them are going to be on our Youtube channel, so that when we have a lot of these videos, it will be easier for you to watch them together, or favorite or save them. So please be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel as well 🙂

(This is because we will be making a lot of these videos, and we don’t want to spam our lesson posts with vocabulary videos. But the videos are ALL going to be available on Youtube.)

Thank you once again for your support, everyone!

    Will it return?

    보고 싶어요 ㅠ_ㅠ

    • We are going to start it again soon. 😉

      기다려주셔서 감사해요! ^ㅁ^

  • ingrid 잉그리드

Thank you!!! i like this idea because not everyone can practice so often!!! thank you!! i would like also to have the pdf even if is only on youtube… i don’t know if that is possible.. because i was looking for the second one!!

    • Yeah I agree your opinion and that is also the reason why we made this video.

  • Zane

Just exactly what I was hoping for. Kinda like the Korean word of the day but steroids. Thanks for always having so many different types of resources!

    • Thank you. 🙂 I will try to make up more ideas which will be using for the future video.

  • Interesting idea. May I suggest that you add some sort of display on your homepage for some sort of easy access to these mini-lessons? Perhaps it could simply be a link to a page presenting the mini-lessons in the order in which they were added, with the word covered and the link to its YouTube video included?

I, for one, think YouTube gets messy very quickly when the videos begin to pile up.

Either way, thanks for another helpful study tool ^_^ 고맙습니다.

    • Thank you for your good idea.

It seems to be hard to find the mini-lesson directly.

  • Uhh, Hasta que finalmente terminó el mundial, España campeón del mundo!! ^^ xD

    Viva España!

    Thanks South Africa!!!

  • Chris

Hi, first time here at the site. I’m not sure if we were expected to know all the words in the video, but I had a very hard time following the sentence structure because I didn’t recognize a lot of the words.

Tips: make the sentences shorter (the last example sentence was way too hard). say the korean more slowly. explain some of the grammar points to us.

otherwise, thanks a lot! 🙂 I’ll check out your other videos.

    • The video shows how to make the sentence longer and longer. I believe that it will be also enough if you understand the meaning of “공부하다 to study”, and I also sure that you will understand most of them in the near future. Go for it. Thanks for your comment.

    • Welcome to the site and thanks for the feedback! 🙂 Just like 석진 said, don’t worry if you don’t understand all the words or the sentence structures used in this video or the videos in this series. These videos were made for learners of all levels and we deliberately added more complex sentences along with very simple words. We introduce and explain all the grammar points through our regular lessons, and these videos are made for introducing new vocab words. Thank you ^^

  • Thea

another amazing video from talktomeinkorean! i just keep being amazed because I actually find learning Korean a lot easier from you guys! Thank you and keep doing a fantastic job!

  • I really like your korean lesson, but can you add the word of how you would pronounce the korean sentence. You say it too fast so I can’t say it. Also when I read a word and pronounce it together I learn much faster. Thank You so much. Kamsahamnida!
