TTMIK Ramyeon Talk

Our teachers 경은 (Kyeong-eun) and 석진 (Seokjin) sat down for some hot cup ramyeon noodles in the office on a cold day. Listen in to their natural and unedited conversation in full length.

You don’t have to watch the whole video in one seating. Feel free to watch parts of it whenever you feel like it, or watch certain parts again to understand them better.

And be sure to let us know what you thought of this format.
We want to keep trying new formats and always look for new possibilities.

Thank you so much for studying with us!

Please include the Korean next time across the bottom of the screen. I like to stop it and read it and see what they are saying. This is how I learn. Also a much shorter format is needed. After 3 minutes I hear only sounds /not words and zone out.

It’s a good idea, just natural conversation. Please add Korean subtitles at the bottom. (white against a black background so we can read it).

  • Also, you need to make 3 levels of “natural” conversation.
1 for beginners. – easy words / topic
2 for intermediate – more grammar but not hard.
3 for advanced – just natural speech all words / grammar.

This is so cute! I love it, and most people, I assume, probably don’t get to hear naturally spoken Korean very often. Fortunately, working for a Korean company I get some good exposure to the language. But I have also found it incredibly useful to start watching Korean dramas…there are some really good ones out there and you can find them with the English subtitles. It helps so much in simply learning to pick out individual words from a sentence, for example. and are good websites to look at… ^_^

    • Thanks so much for your comment and I also appreciate you for the good info. ^^

What is the word/phrase that’s being used around 0:42 to refer to living alone? I can’t figure it out!
