A surcharge applies upon placing an order when shipping to a destination country that is subject to trade restrictions imposed by the UN Security Council. Countries in scope: Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

A surcharge is applied upon placing an order when shipping to a destination country, DHL is operating at elevated risk due to continuous state of war, civil unrest, or continuous threats from terrorism. Destination countries affected: Afghanistan, Burundi, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
Here are the Countries that we have so far confirmed require additional fees on delivery:
- Colombia (DHL CO charges for presenting the documentation before the Colombian customs so that this entity authorizes the legal entry into the Colombian territory and generates the D / T charge.)
- El Salvador
- Portugal ( If the total amount is over 22€, extra fees might be charged.)
*Please note that each surcharge is applied separately. Shipping to certain countries can result in double fees.
(Iran, Yemen, Syria are countries that receive both surcharges and will result in a total fee of $75.)
