  1. Anthony Gersaniba,

what is this in Korean ” I dont care”

    • Talk To Me In Korean,

It depends on the context, but “상관 없어” would be a direct translation. You will find more example sentences online, or you can ask when you join our live class next time!

  2. Yendri,

I joined this premium community in January 1st and it’s the best decision I took! I took level 1 and 2 last year but I’m starting level 1 to review some things and this live classes are excellent to review the topics, (even I had to see to recording) I enjoyed the time! Hopefully we will have for other levels as well! Thanks so much!

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you so much for studying with us!!! : )

  3. ADITI SINGH,

Wasn’t there a class yesterday ? Why does it say coming soon, instead of live ended ?

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Hi Aditi! It might been a web browser cache issue : ) I hope you enjoyed the class!

  4. Nancy,

Gosh I missed the live class because my alarm didn’t go off. I hope there’ll be more classes.

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Hi!! There will be more classes in the near future, so please stay tuned!

  5. Veronica,

Hi there! Just got the time to watch the first video and I wanted to send a big thanks for taking the time to review level 1 with us. Wishing to the whole team of TTMIK a wonderful 2023!!! <3 <3 <3

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you very much for studying with us!!! Happy New Year to you too!

  6. Nabi,

Small question on the lesson 9-16, you mention that -여요 ending only is for 하다. But in the book it also gives the example 보이다 becomes 보여요. (page 97) It confused me in the beginning. Do other -이다 verbs/adjectives follow this pattern? So this rule is not only for 하다?

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thanks for the question! Like Sam wrote, 보여요 is from 보이+어요 : )

    • Sam G,

For 보이다, it is -어요 that gets added, but 보이어요 turns into 보여요 if you combine the vowels. Same with other verbs that end in an “이다”-type sound. 마시다 is conjugated to 마셔요. Hope that helps!

  7. Sylvia Deckers,

Thank you so much – I watched the first video and participated in the second. It is indeed very good because I get a chance to revise under supervision of Hyonwoo, who is such an excellent teacher giving me all the possibilities to learn and study in a fun and effective way – 참으로 대단히 감사합니다

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you very much!!! 정말 감사합니다! ^^

  8. Cintana Arsenia,

hi, why i can not watch the rewatch version? they say “player.vimeo.com took too long to respond.” 🙂

    • Talk To Me In Korean,

Thank you Cintana for studying with us!
Our video hosting platform, Vimeo, seems to be blocked in your country. So, to rewatch the lessons, we recommend you consider using a VPN. Thank you for your understanding.

  9. Nabi,

Just re watched the first session. It was a good overview to see if I understood everything correct and I was able to add some extra explanation to my notes :). I’m almost finished with the first book (5 more chapters to go). I hope that this series is going to continue to the next books. ^^ I wish I could join the life classes, but time-wise with Europe it’s a bit tricky. XD

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you for studying with us!!!

  10. Alison Charles,

I think that these classes will also be useful as a kind of framework to listen to before the lessons because it can set your mind up to expect the questions to ask yourself whilst studying the lessons

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

You’re right! These can definitely also be used as previews as well as reviews! : ) Keep it up!

  11. Tammy Abernethy,

I really enjoyed the live review class! I am going to be renewing my Premium membership because I think this live class will be a good motivator for me!

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you Tammy for studying with us!!! We’ll see you in the future classes!

  12. Alison Charles,

I just watched the re-watch. This was so much better than the YouTube live classes because it flowed better and was less fragmented by frequent interruptions -only one comment on the presenter’s appearance and fewer greetings concentrated into one section. Perfect.

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!!

  13. Sheri B,

I just finished Lesson 2 and it was a great review of Level 1 basic grammar. I am on Level Six, Lesson 24 but always good to review the basics and pick up some more helpful grammar tips. It also makes me realize how much I have learned. The pace is perfect with the right amount of review. 현우 선셍님 is an amazing and very effective teacher.

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you Sheri for your kind words and for studying with us! See you in the next lesson : )

  14. Adam Levy,

I have studied through level 5 but found the review really helpful, forcing me to think in real-time, especially since it was live. There is never too much review when it comes to language. Thanks so much. Now I have to learn to type faster in Hangul (ugh).

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

Thank you very much for studying with us! : ) Let’s keep reviewing together!

  15. Karen Christianson,

Is the second video in process right now? I still haven’t had the option to join yet and it’s 9:10 KST.

    • Talk To Me In Korean,

The ‘Join Now’ button will appear if you refresh the page at 9 AM (KST)! We hope to see you in the next live lesson 🙂

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

The second video is now available for rewatching! : ) Thank you so much for studying with us!

  16. depi,
