Since I was a little kid I fell in love with Asian culture. I grew up watching Asian movies with my dad. In the process of passing from middle school to high school, I fell in love with Korea. That was the beginning of learning more about the culture, music, movies, food, and language. I found out about Talk To Me In Korean in 2013. A few years later I decided to buy the first book “Talk To Me In Korean -Level 1-” with the workbook and I fell in love more with the language. In my case, I tried different curriculums for learning Korean online because they don’t send books to Puerto Rico plus it was difficult to understand it. When I started with TTMIK books were very easy to follow, write, and learn the language. Trust me, you won’t regret it. I’ve tried a few different curriculums while learning Korea — Cyber University of Korea, KLEAR textbooks — and all have their pros/cons. I would recommend using a few different textbooks. But, without a doubt the easiest and most digestible content comes from TTMIK. And the books are beautiful! Trust me, I’m a librarian.

It is really easy to learn and understand the smaler parts of the languagew with these two books. I personally decided to just get the textbooks for the next levels but i still enjoyed using the workbook together with the textbook

This is a great set! I had originally gone through the whole level just using the website, but I’m so glad I ended up buying the books. They go more in-depth with the levels, and have little fun inserts as well.
The workbook is also nice because it contains multiple ways to reinforce what you learned. I especially like the audio that comes with it, because I personally think listening and speaking is the hardest part of the language.

Love it. I did know a few things before, but learning everything surrounding it and the things I was missing is great. Hopefully this will make me good at Korean.
Instructions are easy but obviously it’s something you have to repeat to learn completely. Currently on chapter 7 after 2-3 weeks and I repeat all of them each time I sit down with the book.
Love that there’s some humor included which makes it more fun to learn! Which there was a book full of spelling practices as I’m not that good at writing…
