This must be one of my favourite books by TTMIK. First of all I am glad it’s an intermediate book. Also, this book has anything one would want at this stage of learning. Longer natural dialogues, interesting vocabulary and the highlight: sentence patterns.

This book is very practical for intermediate level learners. I completed the book one lesson at a time and followed this study routine which was very helpful: 1) Listen to the conversation through the TTMIK audio files without looking at the text, 2) Read along while listening to the audio files, 3) Glance at the corresponding English translation when you don’t know a word 4) Write down and study the unfamiliar words through the vocabulary list, 5) Complete the exercises, 6) Listen to the conversation again without looking at the text. This method really helped me internalize a lot of the words. I use this same technique for the book “News in Korean” which is more difficult but the texts are thankfully much shorter!
Thank you to TTMIK team for writing up such an amazing book. I really enjoy studying with it and knowing how to speak just not in formal way (as in most textbooks) but also informally. Definitely seeing how conversations are made in real-life gave me a better perspective of the language. Also want to thank the TTMIK team for amazing customer service. I had some issues with the book that I ordered and was dealt with in an efficient and heart-warming manner. Will continue to support TTMIK and thank you for being an important part of my Korean learning journey.
