Perfect. For a long time I’ve been interested in learning Korean but before all of my other resources couldn’t teach me anything but phrases and vocab, I didn’t know how to put a simple sentence together. Across the board, TTMIK ships! Awesome content in the Grammar Textbook Level 3, as is characteristic of TTMIK, so this time I’d like to mention the aesthetics of the TTMIK Grammar Textbooks. This is the third of my Grammar Textbooks that has traveled over 7,000 miles and arrived in absolutely perfect condition (signed by my teachers!). I really like the design. The folds of the front and back cover are very nice details that add to the sturdiness of the book and also mark my place. In addition to the excellent and entertaining style of the authors, the page layouts, fonts, and illustrations are visually pleasing, so after a long hard day at work, working in my Grammar Textbook is like a reward. The format of the textbook is always so easy to follow, and if used with the matching podcast lesson, it is incredibly engaging and fun to use! I’ve tried other Korean textbooks before, but none of them were as concise and practical as this one. I also make sure to always buy the matching workbooks. The extra practice and audio files give much needed practice, and often provide additional insight and context that wasn’t mentioned in the textbook.
Amazinggg! I’ve only done a bit over half, but love the books like always! Also I’m really enjoying the small hanja lessons!
I cannot review the contents themselves of these books, since I am still in level 2 and have ordered the level 3 bundle ahead, although the first two levels are absolutely perfect so I have no doubt that level 3 will be just like it! I will review the bundle on a shipping perspective instead!
I made two orders in the same day, one with this bundle and another with the level 2 workbook. There was a reason for that: I am from Brazil and our customs are taxing any shipment from abroad that costs more than 50 dollars when it arrives here, so I purposefully made two orders so they wouldn’t reach that amount. TTMIK team immediately (within a few hours I mean) emailed me, asking if I would like them to ship the two orders together to save on the shipping! It was so thoughtful, even though I didn’t need it! Only a company actually manned by human beings has the care of noticing something rather unusual and stepping up to help its customer! You guys got a loyal customer now, since I used to shop for ttmik books on amazon, well NOT ANYMORE <3
If you’ve made it this far, you know about the quality of these books. They’re great. This book is the most helpful introductory book regarding verbs.
I like the use of the book and workbook together. It makes it helpful and gives you more practice with the grammar and listening.
