I love this book! I just got it a few days ago and decided that every day I would listen to one story and then read the story, do the quiz, and read the modern application, and grammar point. I am really enjoying the folktales. Some of them are funny, like The Tiger and the Dried Persimmon. And others are moving, like the Magpie Which Repaid a Favor. This morning I read the magpie story. Then, in the afternoon, I was watching the drama Lovely Runner. I was so surprised when the female lead said “I’ll be the magpie who returned the favor” which was obviously a reference to this folktale! I was so happy that thanks to this book I was able to understand the reference! Thanks TTMIK!
