I bought this bundle as review material before moving on to the intermediate levels. I’m glad I did, as I learned a few new things! I enjoy the variety of exercises in the workbooks. They vary a bit chapter to chapter, so you never get bored. The sections are brief, yet thorough. The Hangeul Master book is very helpful in learning to recognize handwritten Korean. Such a unique idea!

I first bought these books, and then recently purchased the premium subscription because my husband is Korean (I am American) and most of his family lives in South Korea. I want to learn Korean so I can communicate well with his family and eventually when we have kids It will be important for me to teach them Korean so they can communicate with their Korean side of the family as well. I found out about this website and books through Jolly on Youtube. It has been extremely helpful and detailed for me with my Korean learning journey. Previously my parents were missionaries in South Korea from 1990-1999 ( I was born in 2002) So my mother was able to teach me Hangeul, but unfortunately she did not know much Korean, so with the help of the TTMIK curriculum and my husband I hope to be able to converse fluently with his parents and family. Thank you so much for providing such great in depth content and material and I will to continue to learn through TTMIK.

This package was my first purchase back in April 2021 and was a great starting point for my Korean learning journey. I still return to the Hangul Master book from time to time to test myself with the handwriting samples, as reading native speakers’ handwriting is still difficult at times for me!

As a beginner myself, this set of books is a must for everyone starting their journey learning Korean. These books complement the content that TTMIK has on the website. After each lesson learned, you have a variety of exercises to consolidate and to check how much you’ve actually got from what you’ve just learned. Really happy with these books. It’s written easily and I can understand everything. I couldn’t learn for a longer period of time but surprisingly I remember everything I’ve learned from these books. These books are such a game changer for learning Korean. I especially love how the all of the lessons have extra vocabulary for you to learn as you go. It’s such a natural way to learn new words. I also listened to the ‘Essentials’ course that the website has for free which really helped me understand some of the lessons better. The only thing I regret is not using Talk to me in Korean sooner

Started learning Korean 2 weeks ago mainly from youtube videos (including ttmik), language learning apps and Korean movies/music but I quickly realized that there was a limit to how far I was gonna get with only these so I decided to order these books due to the overwhelmingly good comments I had heard and it’s all true. I really thought I would never be able to learn a language and had my doubts this time as well. I have always wanted to learn Japanese and have failed miserably. After doing some research about language learning I found that many people recommended learning Korean first before Japanese. I knew I had nothing to lose so I decided to give it a shot since I love Kpop and Kdramas anyways. To my surprise everything clicked and I started to recognize and comprehend quickly. I haven’t finished Level 1 yet, but I plan to keep going. I only wish I had paid attention to TTMIK sooner. Thank you so much!

Thank you for these amazing books! I tried learning Korean before with diffrent Apps but none of them satisfied me. Then I found Talk To Me In Korean through some Youtubers and was imediantly convinced that I should give it a try. Now I’m here more motivated to learn than ever.
